Dedicated Employment Specialists offering personalised one-on-one support

We support amazing people – including those who are either out of work or find it hard to retain a job due to disability or physical and mental health issues – to find, stay and thrive in employment.

The Individual Placement and Support in Primary Care (IPSPC), known locally as ‘Working Well East Midlands,’ is funded from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC).

Led by Nottingham City Council, the service is delivered in collaboration with East Midlands Chamber, Inspire Training, and Futures Advice Skills and Employment.

Our dedicated Employment Specialists offer personalised one-on-one support to help you discover fulfilling paid employment tailored just for you. We are committed to being your advocate, recognising your potential, and assisting you in securing suitable full- or part-time work.

We provide guidance on managing debts, accessing benefits, and maintaining your wellbeing, ensuring our support continues even after you’ve landed your new job.

We also extend our expertise to support both employed individuals and employers in maintaining a healthy workforce. Our team of experienced and approachable professionals offers training and valuable advice.

We work with people who…

Our promises to you:

  • Be your advocate and recognise your potential.
  • Involve you in all decisions, be with you, not just for you.
  • Be effective, providing practical assistance along with kindness and compassion.
  • Ensure easy accessibility and prompt responses when contacted.
  • Support you in finding a job with the hours, skills, and experience that are right for you.

Support for Employers

We believe that everybody deserves the right conditions to do their best work. That’s why we support local companies based in Nottingham City, Broxtowe, Gedling or Rushcliffe to keep their workforce well. Employers can access free training, health advice, and employee benefits.
